The peppy hit number from South, "Appadi Podu" has changed hands... Earlier the rights of the chartbuster song from Tamil film 'Ghilli' was bagged by Sonu Sood for his forthcoming..........
production 'Lucky Lucky'. However now buzz is that Khiladi entertainer Akshay Kumar has got it from Sood.
Talks in the circles are that Akki was keen to have the song for his forthcoming film titled 'Naam Hai Boss'. Apparently Akshay had earlier bought the rights of "Appadi Podu", but Sonu, who was not aware of the fact, had gone ahead to ask the song's original music composer Vidyasagar to retune it for him. Eventually the Action King, a good buddy of 'Dabangg' Sood, went and requested him the song's rights.
Incidentally speculations were there that Salman Khan and Sonu Nigam were interested to have "Appadi Podu" song for their respective ventures.The song which starred Vijay and Trisha was sung by Kay Kay and Anuradha Sriram in Tamil.
