Noted actor-director Ameer filed a complaint at the Police Commissioner's Office yesterday against Studio Green and Gemini Lab. Ameer alleged that Studio Green has been trying to release the Telugu version of his film Paruthiveeran in Andhra Pradesh without his permission and without giving him the royalty rights.........
He informed the media that he had given a letter to Gemini Labs earlier, asking them not to give the negatives and dubbing rights.
However, he said that now along with Studio Green they are in a hurry to release the Telugu version of the film on March 2. “I have filed the complaint claiming my royalty rights as a writer, script writer and director,” he said. A case filed by Ameer claiming the expenditure for making the film is still pending in the courts.
