  Director Vijay had a dream of wielding megaphone for Ilayathalapathy Vijay. He had earlier mentioned that his next set of movies following Deiva Thirumagal will be Vikram, Vijay and Ajith Kumar.

The director has now started working on his next film with Vikram titled Thaandavam that is produced by UTV Motion Pictures. The film has Anushka and Amy Jackson in lead roles. While the first schedule is ready to get-go in Chennai by end of December, the director has bagged a big offer now.

Yes, he has been signed to direct actor Vijay’s next movie that is yet to be titled. The film is produced by Chandra Prakash Jain with the same technicians, who have been associated with director Vijay in his previous movies.

G.V. Prakash was given an advance amount this morning and he is super excited working with actor Vijay for the first time. Nirav Shah will be handling cinematography and Anthony on editing. Actor Vijay has now started working on A.R. Murugadoss’ Thupaaki that has Kajal Agarwal in female lead role. Soon after the completion of this film, Vijay will work with director Vijay, who will also complete Thaandavam by that time.
